The conference will take place at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University , Campus Pilestredet in Pilestredet 46.
The Welcome reception on Sunday June 17th will take place at the University Library in Pilestredet 48.
The Gala Dinner on Tuesday June 19th will take place in Festsalen in Pilestredet 52.
A number of hotel rooms have been reserved for the conference participants at Smarthotel and Cochs pensjonat from June 17th. These hotels are situated close to the conference area. Please use the registration form to book rooms at these hotels.

Oslo is the capital of Norway and has over 670.000 inhabitants. A rather small capital, but with a vibrant cultural life: take a stroll at the world’s largest sculpture park made by a single artist, Vigeland sculpture park, have a look at the famous painting by Edvard Munch, the Scream, or visit one of the many islands within city limits.
Oslo is surrounded by beautiful nature with great scenery from the fjord to the forested hills.
About Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences
OsloMet — Oslo Metropolitan University (former Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences, HiOA) has approximately 20.000 students and almost 2000 employees. OsloMet is located in the eastern part of Norway and has four faculties situated at two main campuses: Pilestredet in Oslo and Kjeller in Akershus.
The largest campus is Pilestredet in downtown Oslo. The buildings where this conference will take place is located in Frydenlund, close to Bislett. What was once the site of one of the country’s biggest breweries has been replaced by classrooms, library, study rooms and cafeterias.
OsloMet provides education that qualifies students for employment in the health and social services, education, public administration, media, design, arts and for technical and business administrative positions in business and industry.
The University Library (former Learning Centre and Library) at OsloMet has five library services and departments for AV Services, English for Academic Purposes, Diversity in Pedagogical Practices, Moocahuset (working with e-learning) and a Learning Support Centre.
Getting to Oslo
By air: Be sure to book a flight to Oslo Airport Gardermoen (from Torp Airport Sandefjord there is a 2 hours bus or train ride to Oslo). From Oslo Airport Gardermoen there are frequent trains and busses to the city centre. Read more at Visit Oslo.
If you are staying at the hotels Smarthotel and Cochs Pensjonat the SAS airport shuttle “Flybussen” will take you within a short walking distance to the hotels. These hotels are reached by tram no 11, 17 and 18 from Oslo central railway station.
